What is Cloud Computing and Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is a coined term that essentially relates to all the web applications that facilitate information sharing and collaberation on the web. Some examples of Web 2.0 are things like blogs, social media sites, and video sharing. Web 2.0 sites are different than a normal site because it allows users to collaberate, join in and be a part of social media and become users in a virtual community.

Cloud computing is where in stead of keeping files, documents, songs, and videos on your home computer, you store all your information in a magic place in the sky or "cloud". Someone else stores all of your things in a safe location. This frees your storage, worries of losing all your info. from a crash, and for businesses helps keep down cost of buying and managing costly servers.
